These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website www.coastlineconstructwa.com (the "Website") and the carpentry and building services ("Services") provided by Coastline Construct WA Pty Ltd ("Coastline Construct WA", "we", "our", "us"). By using the Website or engaging our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or engage our Services.
Coastline Construct WA is a carpentry and building services provider based in Greenwood, Western Australia, servicing Perth's northern suburbs and surrounding areas within an approximate 50km radius.
2.1 The content on this Website — including text, images, logos, and project photos — is provided for general information about our Services and is not a substitute for a formal quote or contract.
2.2 We make reasonable efforts to keep information on the Website accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, error-free, or current at all times. Prices, service descriptions, and availability are subject to change without notice.
2.3 You must not use the Website in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful, or that could damage, disable, or impair the Website or interfere with any other party's use of it.
2.4 Unless otherwise stated, all content on this Website is owned by or licensed to Coastline Construct WA and is protected by Australian intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or republish any content from this Website without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference.
3.1 Quotes provided via the Website, phone, or email are estimates only and are provided free of charge and without obligation, unless stated otherwise.
3.2 Quotes are based on the information and site access available to us at the time and are valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless a different period is stated in writing.
3.3 A quote may change if the scope of work changes, unforeseen site conditions are discovered (e.g. structural issues, hidden damage, non-compliant existing work), or materials become unavailable or change in price. We will notify you of any such changes before proceeding, where reasonably possible.
3.4 A formal written quote or contract, signed by both parties, will govern the specific terms (price, scope, timeline, and payment schedule) of any individual project. Where there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed project agreement, the signed agreement prevails.
4.1 Start dates and completion timeframes given verbally or in a quote are estimates only. They may be affected by weather, material availability, approvals, or matters outside our reasonable control.
4.2 You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work site, and to disclose any known hazards, structural concerns, or access restrictions in advance.
5.1 Payment terms (including any deposit, progress payments, and final payment) will be set out in your project quote or contract.
5.2 Invoices are due within the timeframe stated on the invoice. Late payment may incur interest or additional costs as permitted by law and as set out in your project agreement.
5.3 We reserve the right to pause work on a project where payment is significantly overdue, after reasonable written notice.
Any changes to the agreed scope of work ("variations") requested by you, or required due to unforeseen site conditions, will be documented and priced separately before being carried out, wherever practicable.
7.1 We carry out all work with due care and skill, in accordance with relevant Western Australian building standards and codes applicable to the work performed.
7.2 Specific workmanship warranty periods will be set out in your individual project agreement or invoice.
7.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred on you under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7.4 Manufacturer warranties on materials and products (e.g. timber, hardware, fixtures) are passed on to you to the extent provided by the manufacturer, and are separate from our workmanship warranty.
We hold public liability insurance for our carpentry and building work. Certificates of currency are available on request.
9.1 To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from the Website or our Services is limited to, at our option, the resupply of the Services or the cost of having the Services resupplied.
9.2 We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, except where such liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
9.3 Nothing in these Terms limits any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or the Home Building Contracts Act 1991 (WA) or equivalent legislation, where applicable to your project.
Cancellation terms for a booked project (including any deposit forfeiture or costs incurred prior to cancellation) will be set out in your project quote or contract.

If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, you may be entitled to raise it with Building and Energy (Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety, WA) or Consumer Protection WA, as applicable.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Website at the time of your use or engagement applies. Material changes affecting an active project will not apply retrospectively to that project's signed agreement.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia, and any disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
